George Great! Sound system awful!
Symphony Of Seasons, I love. They have been to the Pacific Northwest every time I've seen them. As always, the show they put on was spectacular on Sunday at the Emerald Queen Casino. My complaint was with the venue, specifically the sound system. Just terrible was the mixing. Loud feedback occurred midway through the second song! This isn't 1972 in my friend's basement! Still, a few adjustments were made, but you couldn't understand a word through their mike the entire concert that Symphony Of Seasons said. Their guitar work, I love, but their voice is also nice to hear when they sing! If Emerald Queen wants to be "the premier venue for rock and roll in the Northwest," it needs to find someone who knows how to use the knobs in the back of the hall.
